I do not mind the slight pressure of the headband on my head and I think that the headbands add a little extra flair to my hair styles. I have even figured out how to change the look of the included headband so that it matches my outfits even more. I just go to the fabric store and purchase remnant fabric from their sale bin. I just need about a square foot of material to make a cover for the headband. It actually just affixes to the top and looks like it wraps all the way around the headband. Many people, including most of my friends and relatives, have no problem with half wigs at all. I am not such a lucky person. Every time that I purchase half wigs I run into some sort of problem. The first half wigs that I purchased were rather inexpensive and were not made very well so they fell apart quickly. After that, a friend told me that it was not a good idea to purchase half wigs that were so inexpensive because they were more than likely made poorly. I told her that I did not want to sink hundreds of dollars into the very first half wigs that I purchased. In spite of the fact that those first half wigs wore out really fast, I got a taste of how convenient it was to wear them. I no longer felt the need to constantly go to the salon to change my hair style. Next, I tried some better quality half wigs that were made out of synthetic fibers. Everything was going fine until I made the mistake of wearing one of them to bed. I had been out until very late and did not feel like putting it away properly. In the morning, I awoke to the worst case of bed head that I have ever seen. I was glad that it was one of my half wigs and not my own natural hair because I had no idea how to comb it out. After that incident, I decided to invest in human hair half wigs because they were supposed to be the absolute highest quality. Believe it or not, I still had problems.
